Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 10

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 10 of 2024, our final week of the season for selections.

Our Class A selection is Mauricio Sunderland of Thornton Academy. During the Golden Trojans 36-12 win over South Portland, Mauricio ran 22 times for 170 yards and 4 touchdowns in the game. He joins other alumni such as Wyatt Benoit(2024), Jack Emerson(2021), Kobe Gaudette(2019), Isaac Ofielu(2018), C.J. LaBreck(2017), Will Mitchell(2017), Michael Laverriere(2014 & 2016), Austin McCrum(2015), Eric Christensen(2012), Steve Trask(2009), and Zach Sheehan(2009).

Our Class B selection is Colton Carter of Lawrence. During the Bulldogs 28-18 win in Augusta over Cony, Colton had 22 carries for 144 yards and 1 touchdown. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Dustan Hunter-Bellows(2024), Parker Higgins(2021), Kyle Carpenter(2018), Isaiah Schooler(2017 & 2018), Anthony Sementelli(2012), Shaun Carroll(2011), and Christian Powers(2009).

Our Class C selection is Jaydiin Ruiz of Medomak Valley. During the Panthers 36-6 victory against Nokomis, Jaydiin ran 23 times for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns while making 3 tackles on defense. This is his second selection this season. He joins Aaron Reed(2023) as the selected alumni from Medomak Valley.

Our Class D selection is Cody Cobb of Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale. During the Ramblers 36-6 win against Dirigo, Cody ran 16 times for 172 yards and scored 4 touchdowns while making 7 tackles and recovering a fumble on defense. He joins other alumni such as Carter Rivers(2023), Robby Feeney(2022), Dominic Trott(2021 & 2022), Logan Baird(2021), Keegan Choate(2017 & 2019), Nate Scott(2016), Alec Brown(2015), and Jared Hanson(2011).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Andrew Padgett of Greely. During the Rangers 40-6 win against Lake Region, Andrew completed 6 of 13 passes for 131 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown. He was selected in 2023 and joins other alumni such as Matt Pisini(2013 & 2014), Drew Hodge(2012), and Michael Leeman(2010).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection for a second consecutive week is Brady Plante of Old Orchard Beach. During the Seagulls 60-14 win over Sacopee Valley, Brady three 3 touchdown passes, he ran for a touchdown, and he returned a kickoff for a touchdown. This is his third selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Jacob Payea(2019 & 2021), Jaden Davies(2019), Eric Hogan(2015), Bryan Roberts(2013 & 2014), and Jason Dutton(2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 9

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 9 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Wyatt Benoit of Thornton Academy. During the Golden Trojans 69-0 win against Scarborough, in one half of play Wyatt completed 8 of 9 passes for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing 5 times for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Jack Emerson(2021), Kobe Gaudette(2019), Isaac Ofielu(2018), C.J. LaBreck(2017), Will Mitchell(2017), Michael Laverriere(2014 & 2016), Austin McCrum(2015), Eric Christensen(2012), Steve Trask(2009), and Zach Sheehan(2009).

Our Class B selection is Tatum Doucette of Messalonskee. During the Eagles 27-6 victory at Gardiner, Tatum completed 14 of 20 passes for 243 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing 23 times for 56 yards and a touchdown. This is his second selection this season and fourth selection overall and he joins other alumni such as Austin Pelletier(2016 & 2017), Jack Bernatchez(2014 & 2015), Jake Dexter(2013), Sam Dexter(2011), Justin Tinsman(2010), and Keenan Knox(2010).

Our Class C selection is Zeb Foster of Oceanside. During the Mariners 40-30 win over Hampden Academy, Zeb ran 30 times for 231 yards and 5 touchdowns, he scored 4 2-point conversions, and on defense he made 2 tackles. This is his third selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Cohen Galley(2022 & 2023), Aiden Sergent(2022), Michael Norton Jr(2017), Brandon DeBrosky(2016), Sam Meklin(2010 & 2012), Derek Miller(2010), and Tyler Fogg(2009).

Our Class D selection is Hassan Hobbi of Winslow. During the Black Raiders 44-18 win against Madison, Hassan ran 18 times for 225 yards and 4 touchdowns, he scored a two-point conversion, and he successfully made 4 PAT kicks. He joins other alumni such as Matt Quirion(2021 & 2023), Colby Pomeroy(2019), Rob Clark(2019), Ryan Fredette(2017), Nate St. Amand(2015), Dylan Hapworth(2012), Joe Hopkins(2012), Donald Camp(2011), Johnny McCabe(2010), and Cody Souviney(2009).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dash Farrell of Mt. Ararat. During the Eagles 44-0 victory over Gray-New Gloucester, Dash ran 19 times for 303 yards and 6 touchdowns, he scored 3 2-point conversions, and on defense he had 12 tackles and had an interception. This is his second selection this season and third selection overall and he joins other alumni such as Shea Farrell(2021 & 2022), Holden Brannan(2019), and Riley Morin(2018).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Brady Plante of Old Orchard Beach. During the Seagulls 58-6 win against Boothbay, Brady threw 3 touchdown passes, he ran for two touchdown passes, and on defense he returned an interception for a touchdown. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Jacob Payea(2019 & 2021), Jaden Davies(2019), Eric Hogan(2015), Bryan Roberts(2013 & 2014), and Jason Dutton(2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 8

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 8 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Easton Healy of South Portland. During the Red Riots 39-20 victory over Scarborough, Easton ran for four touchdowns and caught a pass for a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Jaelen Jackson(2021 & 2022), Anthony Poole(2019), Jake Poole(2017), Duncan Preston(2013), Michael Salvatore(2011), and Ryan Curit(2009).

Our Class B selection is Colton Carter of Lawrence. During the Bulldogs 39-35 win against Hampden Academy, Colton ran 27 times for 368 yards and 4 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Dustan Hunter-Bellows(2024), Parker Higgins(2021), Kyle Carpenter(2018), Isaiah Schooler(2017 & 2018), Anthony Sementelli(2012), Shaun Carroll(2011), and Christian Powers(2009).

Our Class C selection is Gavin Monyok of Hampden Academy. During the Broncos 39-35 loss to Lawrence, Gavin completed 15 of 23 passes for 334 yards and 5 touchdowns while rushing 4 times for 24 yards. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Andrew Cote(2024), Casey Sudbeck(2016), Matt Martin (2013), Logan Steward(2012), and Nick Stevens(2010 & 2011).

Our Class D selection is Cal Moody of Wells. During the Warriors 30-13 victory over Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale, Cal completed 11 of 15 passes for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Dom Buxton(2024), Conner Whitten(2021), Payton MacKay(2019), Tyler Bridge(2018), Riley Dempsey(2016), Chris Carney(2014), Drew Shelley(2012), Doug McLean(2011), Paul McDonough(2011), and Louis DiTomasso(2011).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Kobi Conant of Gray-New Gloucester. During the Patriots 38-0 over against Traip Academy, Kobi completed 11 of 18 passes for 303 yards and 5 touchdowns while rushing 5 times for 68 yards and 1 touchdown. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Austin Chase(2015) and Taylor Valente(2009).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Cameron Atkinson of Stearns. During the Minutemen's 60-6 victory over Ellsworth, Cameron completed 9 of 10 passes for 101 yards and 4 touchdowns while rushing 8 times for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Caden Raymond(2023), Caleb Shearer(2022 & 2023), Elliott Shearer(2019), Riley Whitney(2012), and Jared McGreevy(2009 & 2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 7

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 7 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Kyle Johnson of Bangor. During the Rams 28-27 win in New Hampshire over Winnacunnet, Kyle completed 9 of 19 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown while rushing 20 times for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Jackson Varney(2023), Max Clark(2021), Joey Morrison(2021), Jonny Lyon(2019), Dane Johnson(2014 & 2015), Logan Lanham(2013), Cody Chapman(2012), Zeb Tuell(2011), Joe Seccareccia(2010), and Lonnie Hackett(2009).

Our Class B selection is Tatum Doucette of Messalonskee. During the Eagles 46-0 win at Farmington against Mt. Blue, Tatum completed 10 of 13 passes for 165 yards and 5 touchdowns along with rushing 9 times for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns. This is his third selection overall and he joins other alumni such as Austin Pelletier(2016 & 2017), Jack Bernatchez(2014 & 2015), Jake Dexter(2013), Sam Dexter(2011), Justin Tinsman(2010), and Keenan Knox(2010).

Our Class C selection is Dane Cabral of Leavitt. During the Hornets 45-35 loss to Scarborough, Dane caught 5 passes for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Noah Carpenter(2021 & 2022 & 2023), Hunter Hayes(2021), Wyatt Hathaway(2018 & 2019), Damion Calder(2018), Tim Albert(2017), Levi Craig(2015), Jordan Hersom(2011), and Eric Theiss(2009).

Our Class D selection is Kaiden Delano of Oak Hill. During the Raiders 41-34 win against York, Kaiden had 27 carries for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns while making 6 tackles on defense and returning an interception for a touchdown. This is his second selection this season and he joins other alumni such as Hunter Drew(2022), Caden Thompson(2021), Gavin Rawstron(2018 & 2019), Dalton Therrien(2015), Kyle Flaherty(2013 & 2014), Alex Mace(2014), Cody Depuy(2011), and Josh Allen(2010).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Ignatius McGrath of Yarmouth. During the Clippers 52-48 victory against Morse, Ignatius completed 27 of 44 passes for 321 yards and 5 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Michael McGonagle(2022 & 2023), Jack McGrath(2019), John Thoma(2016), Jack Snyder(2015), and Anders Overhaug(2011).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Ripley Strout of Ellsworth. During the Eagles 66-14 win over Bucksport, Ripley ran 12 times for 354 yards and 7 touchdowns, he caught 3 passes for 24 yards and a touchdown, and he recorded 8 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Connor Crawford(2017 & 2019) and Devin Wright(2015).

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 6 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Connor Johnson of Bonny Eagle. During the Scots 70-14 win at Scarborough, Connor ran 9 times for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns, he caught 2 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, and he returned a kickoff for a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Colin Moran(2024), Terrell Edwards(2023), Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).

Our Class B selection is Cody Bubier of Marshwood. During the Hawks 52-24 victory at Gorham, Cody ran 16 times for 206 yards, he scored 4 touchdowns, and he scored a 2-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Cam Cornett(2021), Tommy Springer(2017), Zach Doyon(2015), Brett Gerry(2012), and Cameron Roll(2012).

Our Class C selection is Jaydiin Ruiz of Medomak Valley. During the Panthers 38-14 win over Cony, Jaydiin ran 29 times for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns, he scored a 2-point conversion, and on defense he had a tackle and intercepted two passes. He joins Aaron Reed(2023) as the selected alumni from Medomak Valley.

Our Class D selection is Damon Martin of Poland. During the Knights 48-25 victory at Madison, Damon completed 3 of 8 passes for 38 yards and a touchdown, he ran 9 times for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns, while on defense he forced 3 fumbles, he returned 2 fumbles for touchdowns, and he returned an interception for a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Isaac Ramsdell(2023) and Brady Martin(2022).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Brock Gibbons of Lake Region. During the Lakers 54-26 win against Camden Hills, Brock completed 17 of 21 passes for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns, he ran 20 times for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns, and on defense he recorded 5 tackles, 2 tackles for losses, and had 3 sacks. This is his second selection this season and he joins Ryan Stoker(2021) as the selected alumni from Lake Region.

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Isaiah Ervin of Houlton. During the Shiretowners 54-36 victory at Orono, Isaiah completed 7 of 10 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown, he ran 30 times for 400 yards and 6 touchdowns, he scored 5 2-point conversions, and on defense he had 12 tackles and intercepted a pass. He was selected back in 2022 and joins other alumni such as Seth Holston(2016) and Jake Drew(2014).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 5

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 5 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Colin Moran of Bonny Eagle. During the Scots 24-19 victory over South Portland, Colin completed 11 of 14 passes for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns while running 20 times for 199 yards and a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Terrell Edwards(2023), Cade Dixon(2022), Cam Marcello(2022), Zac Oja(2021), Zach Maturo(2019), Keegan Meredith(2019), Will Whyte(2018), Connor Sirois(2017), Cam Day(2016), Alex Sprague(2016), Zach Brannon(2015), Matt Smith(2014), Zach Dubiel(2013), Tyson Goodale(2011 & 2012), Matt Rollins(2010), and Ryan Nason(2009).

Our Class B selection is Travis Edgerton of Biddeford. During the Tigers 27-8 win against Brunswick, Travis completed 23 of 31 passes for 324 yards and 3 touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Ivan Ramos(2022), Carter Edgerton(2017 & 2018), Tyler Audie(2010), and Nick Gagne(2010).

Our Class C selection is Morgan Judkins of Brewer. During the Witches 34-0 win over Maine Central Institute, Morgan ran 21 times for 134 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Cameron Hughes(2022), Cody Wood(2017), Bryant Kiley(2017), Ray Wood(2016), Logan Rogerson(2015), and Jaime Williamson(2009).

Our Class D selection is Dom Buxton of Wells. During the Warriors 50-21 victory against Oak Hill, Dom ran 16 times for 157 yards and 5 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Conner Whitten(2021), Payton MacKay(2019), Tyler Bridge(2018), Riley Dempsey(2016), Chris Carney(2014), Drew Shelley(2012), Doug McLean(2011), Paul McDonough(2011), and Louis DiTomasso(2011).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Hollis Schwalm of Camden Hills. During the Windjammers 36-30 victory over Mt. Ararat, Hollis completed 10 of 17 passes for 315 yards and 5 touchdowns with an interception, he ran 7 times for 64 yards, and he scored 3 2-point conversions. He joins other alumni such as Hunter Norton(2019 & 2021), Collin Downs(2010), and Jake Powers(2010).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Will Francis of Orono. During the Red Riots 48-20 victory at Bucksport, Will caught 9 passes for 284 yards and 4 touchdowns. This is his second selection and he joins other alumni such as Jack Brewer(2022 & 2023 & 2024), Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 4

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 4 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Carter Wyman of Oxford Hills. During the Vikings 40-0 win against Scarborough, Carter completed 16 of 25 passes for 200 yards while rushing 9 times for 49 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Brady Truman(2023), Teigan Pelletier(2022), Eli Soehren(2021 & 2022), Colby VanDecker(2019), Atticus Soehren(2019), Colton Carson(2018), Jacob Spinhirn(2015), and Davis Turner(2014).

Our Class B selection is Garrett Poulin of Gorham. During the Rams 47-7 victory over Westbrook, Garrett completed 9 of 18 passes for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns, he ran 7 times for 25 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he scored a 2-point conversion. He joins other alumni such as Izak Young(2023), Tyler Rollins(2018 & 2019), and John Day(2009).

Our Class C selection for a second consecutive week is Zeb Foster of Oceanside. During the Mariners 52-32 win against Brewer, Zeb ran 20 times for 338 yards and 6 touchdowns, he scored 2 2-point conversions, and on defense he had 5 tackles and a sack. He joins other alumni such as Cohen Galley(2022 & 2023), Aiden Sergent(2022), Michael Norton Jr(2017), Brandon DeBrosky(2016), Sam Meklin(2010 & 2012), Derek Miller(2010), and Tyler Fogg(2009).

Our Class D selection is Parker Rand of Maranacook. During the Black Bears 41-13 victory over Poland, Parker ran 11 times for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns while making 2 interceptions on defense. He joins other alumni such as Owen Dunn(2023), Chris Reid(2021), Garit Laliberte(2019), and Caleb Castonguay(2012).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Cal Hodgdon of Mount Desert Island. During the Trojans 34-14 win against Morse, Cal completed 5 of 8 passes for 52 yards and 3 touchdowns while rushing 9 times for 53 yards and a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Spencer Laurendeau(2022), AJ Lozano(2021), Elijah Joyce(2018), Colby Lee(2017), Tanner Bickford(2015), Jon Phelps(2013), and Nat Hinckley(2009).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Brady Plante of Old Orchard Beach. During the Seagulls 72-14 win against Traip Academy, Brady completed 13 of 21 passes for 304 yards and 6 touchdowns, he ran 7 times for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns, and on defense he had 6 tackles and an interception. He joins other alumni such as Jacob Payea(2019 & 2021), Jaden Davies(2019), Eric Hogan(2015), Bryan Roberts(2013 & 2014), and Jason Dutton(2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 3

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 
3 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is TJ Kramarz of Edward Little. During the Red Eddies 36-34 win over Messalonskee, TJ threw for 23 yards and ran for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Leighton Girardin(2018), Grant Hartley(2017), Matt Verrill(2014), and Teven Colon(2009).

Our Class B selection is Dustan Hunter-Bellows of Lawrence. During the Bulldogs 32-7 win at Skowhegan, Dustan ran 10 times for 96 yards and scored 3 touchdowns while also intercepting a pass on defense. Our Class C selection is Zeb Foster of Oceanside. During the Mariners 40-35 win at York, Zeb completed 4 of 10 passes for 143 yards, he ran 28 times for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns, he scored 2 two-point conversions, and on defense he had 4 tackles and intercepted a pass. He joins other alumni such as Cohen Galley(2022 & 2023), Aiden Sergent(2022), Michael Norton Jr(2017), Brandon DeBrosky(2016), Sam Meklin(2010 & 2012), Derek Miller(2010), Tyler Fogg(2009).

Our Class D selection is Kaiden Delano of Oak Hill. During the Raiders 35-22 win at Poland, Kaiden ran 19 times for 280 yards and scored four touchdowns, while on defense he made 11 tackles, 3 tackles for losses, and recorded a sack. He joins other alumni such as Hunter Drew(2022), Caden Thompson(2021), Gavin Rawstron(2018 & 2019), Dalton Therrien(2015), Kyle Flaherty(2013 & 2014), Alex Mace(2014), Cody Depuy(2011), and Josh Allen(2010).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Dash Farrell of Mt. Ararat. During the Eagles 56-26 win against Orono, Dash ran for 245 yards and scored 6 touchdowns while blocking 2 passes on defense. This is the second time that Dash has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Shea Farrell(2021 & 2022), Holden Brannan(2019), and Riley Morin(2018).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Tyler Easterbrooks of Sacopee Valley. During the Hawks 60-22 win over Boothbay, Tyler completed 9 of 14 passes for 155 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran 12 times for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns, he scored 6 two-point conversions, and on defense he forced a fumble. This is the second time that Tyler has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Dylan Capano(2023) and Austin Croteau(2021).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 2

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 2 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Jamier Rose of Noble. During the Knights 43-8 win against Edward Little, Jamier completed 2 of 3 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown, he ran 8 times for 241 yards and 4 touchdowns, and on defense he made 2 tackles. This is the third time Jamier has been selected and he joins Anthony Prak(2021) as the alumni from the school.

Our Class B selection is Tres Walker of Falmouth. During the Navigators 46-0 win at Skowhegan, Tres completed 10 of 12 passes for 217 yards and threw 5 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Garrett Aube(2017), Jack Bryant(2017), Connor Aube(2014 & 2015), Matt Kingry(2011), Jack Cooleen(2010), and Zach Alexander(2010).

Our Class C selection is Gavin Monyok of Hampden Academy. During the Broncos 24-14 win against John Bapst, Gavin completed 16 of 23 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown. He joins other alumni such as Andrew Cote(2024), Casey Sudbeck(2016), Matt Martin(2013), Logan Steward(2012), and Nick Stevens(2010 & 2011).

Our Class D selection is Luke Littlefield of Belfast. During the Lions 47-36 loss against Mattanawcook Academy, Luke completed 11 of 21 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown, he had 16 carries for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he scored on 2 two-point conversions. This is the second time that Luke has been selected and he joins other alumni such as Steven Davis(2014), Greg Clark(2013), and Carl Dodge(2012).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Kobi Conant of Gray-New Gloucester. During the Patriots 65-26 win over Sacopee Valley, Kobi completed 11 of 16 passes for 193 yards and 5 touchdowns while also rushing 5 times for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Austin Chase(2015) and Taylor Valente(2009).

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Cameron Atkinson of Stearns. During the Minutemen's 54-6 victory against Dexter, Cameron completed 6 of 7 passes for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran 10 times for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns, he scored on 6 two-point conversions, and he had 2 interceptions on defense. He joins other alumni such as Caden Raymond(2023), Caleb Shearer(2022 & 2023), Elliott Shearer(2019), Riley Whitney(2012), and Jared McGreevy(2009 & 2010).

Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week - Week 1

We are proud to announce our selections for the Maine Super 6 Stars of the Week! This honors the outstanding individual achievements from each of the six classes. Here are our selections for Week 
1 of 2024.

Our Class A selection is Louis Thurston of Portland. During the Bulldogs 40-20 win against Oxford Hills, Louis completed 7 of 8 passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns, he ran 9 times for 117 yards and a touchdown, and on defense he had two tackles and intercepted a pass. He joins other alumni such as Cordell Jones(2023), Aidan McGowan(2023), Brandon Boyle(2021), Zack Elowitch(2018), Terion Moss(2017), Issiah Bachelder(2015 & 2016), Joe Esposito(2015), Jordan Talbot(2013), and Imadhi Zagon(2009 & 2010).

Our Class B selection is Tavian Lauture of Deering. During the Rams 35-8 victory over Marshwood, Tavian completed 5 of 12 passes for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran for 88 yards and a touchdown, he kicked a field goal, and on defense he intercepted two passes. He joins other alumni such as Joey Foley(2023), Nate Richards(2016), Max Chabot(2014), Kenny Sweet(2012), and Jamie Ross(2009 & 2010).

Our Class C selection is Andrew Cote of Hampden Academy. During the Broncos 32-21 win over Skowhegan, Andrew caught 2 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, he had 247 kickoff return yards while returning three kickoffs for touchdowns, and he had 4 tackles on defense. He joins other alumni such as Casey Sudbeck(2016), Matt Martin (2013), Logan Steward(2012), and Nick Stevens(2010 & 2011).

Our Class D selection is Ethan Closson of Old Town. During the Coyotes 35-18 win against Madison, Ethan threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 7 times for 86 yards and two touchdowns. He joins other alumni such as Jordan Craft(2022), TJ Crawford(2016), and Jake Jarvis(2015).

Our 8 Man Large School Class selection is Brock Gibbons of Lake Region. During the Lakers 46-8 victory at Yarmouth, Brock completed 3 of 5 passes for 31 yards and a touchdown, he ran 31 times for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns, and on defense he had 5 tackles, 3 tackles for losses, and a sackl. He joins Ryan Stoker(2021) as the alumni from the school.

Our 8 Man Small School Class selection is Jack Brewer of Orono. During the Red Riots 54-6 win at Dexter, Jack completed 18 of 20 passes for 367 yards and seven touchdowns while also scoring on four 2-point conversions. This is the fifth time Jack has been selected and he is the ninth person to be nominated five or more times. He joins other alumni such as Will Francis(2023), Jackson Coutts(2016), Christian Mowrer(2011 & 2012), Norton Revelle(2012), Cameron Mowrer(2011), Bryce Mehnert(2011), and Dominic Mowrer(2010 & 2011).

The Maine Super Six Stars of the Week
is a weekly recognition which selects the top performing student-athletes from each of the six football classes across the state of Maine.


The selection process consists of using media articles and box score recaps to select the top six individual performances of the week. Only accredited and authorized media sources, or feedback submitted by team/school coaches or administrators, are used in the selection process. Nominees are announced every week of the season up to the tenth week of the season. Our selections will be announced every Tuesday.
