About the Pgh Pride
Subscribe to our NewsletterOur organization's main goal is to improve each of our player's basketball skills. We want to help our players become better ball-handlers, shooters, passers, rebounders, defenders, and most importantly teammates.
The thing that sets Pittsburgh Pride Hoops apart from other groups is the experience of its directors (Mike and Tom Brush). They have the unique combination of being able to coach the game of basketball and also get on the court and demonstrate what they are coaching. This can't be said of other organizations.
During our tournament season (which usually runs from March through early June), we have each of our teams practice at least two times per week. Each practice consists of both drills to improve basketball fundamentals and scrimmages to put those basketball fundamentals into action.
In addition to practice, we play in tournaments on the weekends. These tournaments are very competitive and are all relatively local.
The Pittsburgh Pride coaching staff is very committed to helping the players reach their basketball potential.
Likewise, players must also be committed to reaching their basketball potential by working hard each and every practice and game.
Additionally, the Pittsburgh Pride Hoops offers 1-on-1 training, speed/agility/quickness training and conditioning, and basketball skills clinics.
