ABOUT OUR LEAGUE:

The SD County Senior Softball Association (SDCSSA) League was originally founded in 1984, and currently has over a 40+ year history of playing in SD County, and still counting on.  The SD County Senior Softball Association League is a Non-Profit entity, that is fully run & administrated by numerous volunteers across all divisions, that are affiliated with the league.

The SDCSSA League is open to all slow-pitch Players age 55 and over. Games are played every Tuesday morning at numerous different fields all over San Diego County, ranging from Santee, to El Cajon, La Mesa, Spring Valley, Chula Vista, National City, Coronado Island, & Mission Bay.

There are 3 separate divisions in the League, with Triple "AAA", Double "AA", and Single "A" divisions & teams participating. There are always exactly 3 full Seasons played & completed each calendar year, with every season lasting for exactly 4 full calendar months each.  Spring Season (runs March thru June), Summer Season (runs July thru October), and Winter Season (runs November thru February).

The League is sanctioned by SSUSA - Senior Softball USA.  The League uses all standard "Senior Softball" Rules, AND allows all official "Senior Softball" Bats.  The League also uses several "player friendly" Modified/Amended Rules, for each of the 4 divisions as well.  (please see our Rules page, for more detailed info.)
