PRACTICE:
We will being practice Tuesday August 1 at the Four Oaks Civitan fields (located behind Four Oaks Elementary School on Civitan Road). There are a couple of quick “housekeeping” items we need to make sure you are aware of:
· No child is to be DROPPED off at practice without an adult there to supervise (we might have bad weather come up, etc that we need to cancel practice and every child needs to have someone ONSITE that is responsible for them --- this is not to be their coaches.
· NO parking along the street (we need to road to be clear for any emergency vehicles, etc) … parking is past the football field
· No parents or children not playing with us are to enter the inside of the practice field fences (you are allowed to sit along the outside of the fields or on the bleachers)
· If you are unable to attend ANY practices make sure you have contacted your HEAD coach and let them know (if you do not know which team your children has been assigned to please ask us)
· We will continue to monitor weights and team numbers and make adjustments are they are necessary
Practice will be as follows for the first two weeks as we work on getting our 20 hours of mandatory conditioning in. This practice schedule may change in the event we have weather issues (heat, rain, etc). If you will not be at practice on any night again it is your responsibility to notify your head coach. Football players will be notified when it is time to start wearing your equipment (there are guidelines for this … 10 hrs out of pads then 10 hrs in pads)
EQUIPMENT NIGHTS:
Due to the congestion and space we ask that on equipment nights that we only have participant and one parent to help cut down on the craziness we will already be experiencing.
