General Rules:
Pitching Rules
A pitcher once removed from the mound cannot return as a pitcher.
Pitch Count
7-8 50 pitches per day (max)
9-10 75 pitches per day (max)
11-12 85 pitches per day (max)
13-16 95 pitches per day (max)
Exception: If a pitcher reaches the limit while facing a batter, the pitcher may continue to pitch until the current at bat is over.
Days Rest
1. If a player pitches 66 pitches in a day, they need 4 calendar days rest
2. If a player pitches 51-65 pitches in a day, they need 3 calendar days rest
3. If a player pitches 36-50 pitches in a day, they need 2 calendar days rest
4. If a player pitches 21-35 pitches in a day, they need 1 calendar days rest
5. If a player pitches 1-20 pitches in a day, 0 days rest required
Catching/Pitching same day
1. A pitcher who delivers 41 or more pitches in a game cannot play the position of catcher for the remainder of the day
2. Any player who has played the position of catcher in four or more innings in a game is not eligible to pitch on that day. (If he catches on pitch in the fourth inning it counts as an inning, warmup pitches do not count.
Tie Game for both leagues
Last out of previous inning starts at second with one already to start inning. Both teams get chance to score.
Other:
In both divisons "town vs town" games will be played and the results will cout the same towards stading as any other game.
Other General Rules for Majors
1. No leading off
2. 5 run rule per inning
3. Can walk bases loaded but cannot walk a run in, a coach from the team at bat will throw a maxium of 4 pitches from a distance of approximately 35'. If the ball is put in play it is live. If after 4 pitches the ball is not put in play - for any reason - the batter is out.
a. If batter is hit by pitch with bases loaded the runner can come home
4. Batter cannot run on dropped 3rd strike.
5. Runners cannot score on a pass ball
6. Bats must have USA Baseball stamp.
7. Time limit is 1 hour 15 minutes, no inning starts after that. Time as of last out of inning, not beginning of next. Official game is 5 innings.
8. Home team responsible for emailing scores and pitch counts
9. No on deck batter
10. Mercy Rule 10 run lead after 4 innings 15 run lead after 3 innings
11. The whole lineup bats and players must play 2 consecutive innings in the field
12. If the runner has conceded and not advancing to next base and ball is thrown back to pitcher the play is dead. If this occurs and the pitcher does not catch the ball the play is still dead and runner cannot advance.

Reminder: Runner can only score on hit ball, if runners leads off of 3rd and catcher throws to third and over throws, the runner still cannot score.
If player in minors runs from third to home on a pass ball, the runner will be warned not to do again and sent back to third, if he does it again in game he will be counted out.
Other General 50/70 Rules

10. Mercy rule is 10 run lead after 4 innings and 15 run lead after 3 innings
11. The entire lineup bats, free substitution with no minimum play requirement. Please play kids as much as you can in the field.

Other General Coach Pitch Rules
1 1. 4 inning games, no new inning after 1 hour
a. All players bat first two innings with a maximum of 11 batters in any inning
i. Teams with more than 11 players will start next inning with batters after 11 and then go back to top of order and again only going a maximum of 11 batters
b. Next two innings is based on 3 outs like normal baseball, maximum of 11 batters or through the order
c. Teams can choose to play an extra inning (both coaches must agree) if the first innings are quick and you have players attention still
2) 2. A batted ball is “fair” if hit between the lines and 5 feet in front of home plate (a chalk line may be used to put a “fair line” to make sure it goes past a certain area to be considered fair
3) 3. Regular baseballs are to be used
4) 4. Maximum of 10 players in the field
5) 5. Players must wear helmets while batting, running the bases and catching
a. Recommended that catcher only wears catcher mask to speed up the game, they do not need full catcher gear but they can choose to if they want
i. If catcher plans on wearing full gear they must hit first in the inning (also have courtesy runner if in 3rd inning or later in the game)
6 6. One base advancement on overthrow
77. Batters must take full swings (no bunting)
8) 8. A player who throws bat in a manner that could hurt another player will be warned, if they continuously do it they will lose a turn at bat
9) 9. Runners must stay on base until ball is hit
10. Runners must slide feed first only
11. 9 players play in field in normal baseball positions, there must only be catcher/pitcher/four infielders in the infield, games can be played with less than 3 outfielders
12. Pitcher must keep one foot on pitching rubber until ball is hit
a. Coach who is pitching make sure pitcher has line of sight for ball
13. An adult must be back by the catcher and batter at all times
14. Coaches are the umpires for these games
15. Coaches are encouraged to be in field with defensive players to help direct them and make sure they are paying attention
16. If a defensive out is made on a runner or batter the player who is called out must leave field, no “practice running”, coach pitch is transitioning into learning how to play the game with outs
17. Before last batter in lineup comes to the plate let other team know
a. Last batter is treated as if there are two outs, play stops when out is made
18. Batters get approximately 5 good pitches to hit (taking a strike counts as a good pitch), tee is brought out after that and they get two swings (this is to keep the game going)
a. If the batter fouls off and makes 5 good swings use discretion to give him one or two more, the other kids are waiting to hit but we do want the kids to hit the live pitch
b. If tee is brought out and ball is not hit into fair territory after two swings then batter is out
c. If coach is having hard time throwing strikes please ask for help from opposing coach
