RETURNING PLAYERS

Welcome back to last year's players, and those of you who are back after missing a year or more away from the rigor and tension of  HOBO baseball.

Do you remember your first game as a member of HOBO?  How did you feel?  Maybe, but hopefully not,  “What am I doing here?”  

We have 8 new players joining us in 2019.  Please introduce yourself to the new players, especially your teammates.  Encourage the rookies.  Set a good example of how HOBO players play the game by playing to the best of your ability.  Be a role model for your league.

HOBO is operated by some of your fellow players.  If you would like help out in any way, speak to your team rep or President Corey, about learning what goes in the behind-the-scenes operation.

SMOKING AND DRINKING

The City of Hamilton plans to enforce its bylaw to ban smoking in all public spaces, including baseball diamonds.  Enforcement may be by plain clothes personnel.

Our diamond permit forbids the use of alcohol on park property, which includes the parking lots. Your co-operation in these matters will allow us to continue to use these diamonds in the future.
