Two 10U PAL Astros Named "All Americans"

The Head Coach of the Annapolis PAL Astros 10U travel/select youth baseball team today announced that Jack Gallant and Hamish Osborne, both 10 year old boys living in Annapolis, have been named "All Americans" by the Crabfest All American Youth Team Maryland Selection Committee and both will travel in December to Orlando, Florida to play for "Team Maryland" in the upcoming New Years Baseball Classic at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex.

"Jack and Hamish are terrific young athletes with bright baseball futures ahead of them," said their PAL Astros Head Coach.  "They work hard, learn from instruction, and come up big on the field - they bring all the tools any 10 year old player could possibly bring to the baseball diamond."  The Coach noted that Jack finished the recent Chesapeake Baseball Association fall season with 10 base hits, 8 stolen bases and 15 assists in the field.  Hamish pitched 21 innings, striking out 23 batters, and secured a win and a save for the PAL Astros.

Jack lives with his family in Hillsmere and is a 4th grader at the Key School.  Hamish lives with his family in Eastport and is a 4th grader at St. Anne's School of Annapolis.
