There is a Sever Storm Warning System in place for Berlin Community School, the baseball fields and the soccer fields.
A continuous 15 second blast from the siren means storms and lightening are imminent; requiring everyone to leave the fields immediately and seek shelter indoors until the all clear signal sounds.
When conditions are clear the siren will give three 5 second blasts and the strobes will turn off.
The strobe on the school sending unit and the Community Center unit will continue to blink when conditions are dangerous.
