Mid-Atlantic Baseball Classic

Type of Event: High School All-Star Baseball Event

Mission: To allow high school baseball players another chance to showcase their talent on a professional baseball field in front of college & pro scouts for a charitable cause.

History: In May 2006, the Mid-Maryland All-Star Baseball Classic was first held at Hagerstown's Municipal Stadium showcasing 90 of Maryland's top high school senior baseball players. In March of 2008, the Classic expanded to include all-star players from four states (MD, PA, WV, VA, and DC). In 2017 the MABC started including elite underclassmen.

2021 Dates/Times: Elite Game - Monday, June 28, 5:30 PM  / Diamond Stars Game - Tuesday, June 29, 5:30 PM

2021 Venue: Municipal Stadium (Hagerstown, MD)

Format: Two all-star games.
Mid-Atlantic Elite Game (Over 60 of the best nominated players from Mid-Atlantic region)
Diamond Stars Game (Over 60 of the top senior players from the region)

Number of Schools respresented: 75+ different schools

Selection Process:
Each head coach can nominate up to eight senior players.
After all teams nominate their selections; a selection process by the MABC Committee will take place on the remaining nominations to fill out each roster.

Rosters:
Each team can carry a maximum 35-man active roster.

All-Star Head Coaches:
Coaches will be selected by the event committee.

Game Rules:
The games will be nine-inning contests. If tied after nine innings, a bonus inning will be played with MLB extra inning rules
The home team will bat in the bottom of the ninth regardless of score so each team receives nine opportunities to bat 
No ten-run rule will be in effect. Pitcher will throw no more than three innings.
The official high school baseball rule book will be used.

Admission / Cancellation Policy

Admission for this event offers no refund in the event of inclement weather forcing a cancelation or postponement. Paying customers are guaranteed free admission if the event is rescheduled to another date.

Event apparel sales

All sales are final. In the event of an order being incorrect, we will correct the order and ship it to the customer free of charge.

Personal Program Pages

In the event of a mistake, misspelled name or incorrect ad in a personal program page, the MABC will make every attempt to correct the error. If the programs have been printed, the MABC will refund the full amount of the ad to the customer.
