BOOSTERS BY LAWS

ARTICLE I:  Name and Purpose

1.The name of the organization will be Butler Area Midget Football League Boosters (BAMFL Boosters).

2.The purpose of the organization will be to lend support and to promote interest in the Butler Area Midget Football League and the UYFL program, Keeping within the policies and regulations.

ARTICLE II:  Membership

1.A person becomes a member by having a child register to play within the Butler Area Midget Football League, this includes the Butler Cheerleaders and Butler Dance Team or by stating an interest in the program and attending scheduled meetings.  Attending regular scheduled business meetings attains voting privileges.

ARTICLE III: Officers

1.The officers will be President, Vice or Co-Vice Presidents, Secretary, Tresurer.

2.Floor nominations for offices will be accepted each November, presented for election at the next scheduled meeting and elected officers will take office at the first meeting of the new business year.

3.Any member that has attended 25% of the meetings is eligible to hold office.

4.The term of the office is (1) one year.

5.Officers will be elected by simple majority of those members eligible to vote.

6.Anyone attending 25% of the meetings has a right to nominate and/or vote for officers.

7.There must be a quorum of 25% of eligible voting members to hold a vote for the purpose of electing officers.
