Bayside High School offers selective admission (audition or pre-screening) to the special academic programs below:
Academy of Visual Art & Design Foundation of art, illustration, fashion, art history, figure drawing, mix media, painting, calligraphy, sculpture, computer graphics, drawing and commercial art
Academy of Music Vocal & Instrumental Performing Arts Mixed chorus, female chorale, concert choir, male chorus, piano, theory and music survey, beginner and intermediate band, junior band and orchestra, concert and jazz band, symphonic orchestra, piano, theory and music theory
S.M.A.R.T. Science & Math Academy of Research Talent for Gifted Students Introduction to research, math and science research, honors and AP courses and other math and science classes
Sports Medicine & Management A focus on skills, knowledge, and work experience to pursue sports-related careers, inclusive of physical rehabilitation and therapy as well as coaching, management, and media. College accredited courses included. |
