The Monroe Blazers are one of the oldest fastpitch softball teams in the Rochester area. The Monroe Blazers were started in 1995 by Bob Nevil, John Symkanich and Jim Willoth. The first year there were two teams, a 16U and an 18U team. 20 years later, there have been over a thousand girls that have played in the Blazer uniform.
