RVL Golf Tournament Registration
The RVL will hold its 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 13th, 2008, at the Rancocas Country Club in Willingboro, NJ. Tee time will begin at 1pm. The $100 donation includes a round of golf with a cart and lunch buffet/beverages.

The tournament will follow a scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to the top three foursomes. Additional prizes include: "Closet to the Pin" and "Longest Drive". The registration form can be accessed via the link and can also be found under "RVL Forms".

On Saturday, June 14th, all 10 RVL franchises will convene at Southampton Memorial Park in Vincentown, NJ, to participate in what has been dubbed, "RVL Day". The purpose of the one day event is to raise money towards the annual RVL scholarship which is given to RVLers who are attending college. In the past, two $500 scholarships were awarded. The RVL holds an annual golf tournament. Proceeds from the golf tournament help defer team expenses and fund the scholarship. Unfortunately, only one scholarship was awarded last year due to increasing team expenses.

However, this year the RVL is hoping to award 2 scholarships and quite possibly increase the dollar amount. What better way then by playing baseball? The schedule will feature 5 games throughout the day starting at 10am. The league will charge a small admission fee and have various raffles throughout the day. All monies raised will directly support the RVL scholarship which will be awarded at the championship game in mid-August.

10am Burlington vs. Willingboro
12pm Delran vs. Cinnaminson
2pm Vincentown vs. Moorestown
4pm Pemberton vs. Mt. Holly
6pm Tabernacle vs. Mt. Laurel

Scholarship Application
The Rancocas Valley League has announced that applications for the Jason Siddell Memorial Scholarship are now available. A total of two $500 scholarships will be awarded. Any RVL player who will be attending college during the next academic year is eligible to apply. See the attached document for the specific criteria. All application materials must be received by July 24th, 2008, to be considered. The awards will be given on Saturday, July 26th during the opening day of the RVL playoffs. A re-organization meeting for the 2009 season will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2008 @ 1pm at the Oneida Boat Club in Burlington, NJ. The meeting's agenda will include election of the 2009 league officers and any issues relating to the 2008 season. It is necessary that all managers and/or team representatives are in attendance.
