Board Meeting Minutes

October 13th, 2019

●       Members Present

○       Emily Demmons, Scott Burke, Chad Rupert, Kyler Heiston, Brian Hammond, Todd Glines, Doug Wynkoop, Travis Bloom, Jon Boyer, Joe Regan, Kasi Boyer, Kelli Cobb, Tara Wynkoop

●       Still no time determined for District Meeting

●       Rally at Valley 9U Tournament

○       6 teams (5 have paid)

○       Games at 9:00, 11:30, and 2:00 Saturday, 10:00, 12:30, and 3:00 (Championship game) Sunday

○       1 hour and 45 minutes may not start another inning

○       2 slots out of 20 filled so far for jobs that need done (score board, press box, concession stand…)

○       Blue Crabs will have a doubleheader Saturday at 10:00 and 12:30 and Sunday at 1:00 and 3:30

○       Ryan Household will trim, edge and have grounds looking nice

●       BINGO

○       $2774.77 profit, 91 tickets sold, Keystone only charged us for 80 plates

○       Plan a Sunday afternoon, In-season BINGO this spring

●       Fall Ball

○       Last game is Friday October 18th

○       Overall went well, had a great turn out and the kids had fun

○       Some parents were hoping for more skill instruction

○       Next year look into possibly raising fee and bringing in a “specialist” to work with kids in a specific area weekly (pitching, fielding, hitting…), and have one game weekly.
