About the Academy
The East End United Soccer Academy was founded in 2001 originally as the North Fork United and finally changed over to East End United in 2003. The purpose of the Academy is to provide high level training and tournament play to commited players within the Club. We recognize that this is not for every player but also recognize the value of providing a place to play locally for our seriously committed players. After growing tired of watching players leave the club for more committed play up west the Academy was formed. We do not need to reinvent the wheel as others have. We will continue to focus on the sport of Soccer and Soccer only and provide the best possible foundation for our players development.
The Academy players train 1 x per week in addition to their Club team, participate in Friday Night Futbolinho and also play in multiple tournaments throughout the year.
Ball Mastery:
Each Academy player will advance through several levels of ball mastery beginning with the most basic individual ball skills and advancing through level 3 more advanced skills with active defenders. Once players are proficient in individual ball skills the players are then challenged with finishing at pace with active defenders utilizing different finishing techniques.
