Regional Tournament
Four Regional Champions
QO repeated the individual placements from county's and finishes in 5th place overall as a team. Four wrestler's finish in first place and advance to the Maryland State Championship next Friday and Saturday at Cole Field House at the University of Maryland. Congratulations wrestlers!

Wow! QO Crowns Four County Champs!
Quince Orchard crowned more champions than any other of the 24 county teams that competed in the 2009 Montgomery County Tournament.. QO started off well in the pigtail rounds gaining all wins but the first round of 16 saw 8 of 14 wresters go down. It was looking a little bleak for the team but with six QO wrestlers placing in the top six QO was able to place fourth overall as a team in the tournament.

JV County Tournament
Five wrestlers competed in the JV Tournament last weekend at Gaithersburg High School. Gage Neubaum took 1st place in the 105 lb weight class. Gage pinned all four of his opponents, three in the first period and one in the second period. Great job and congratulations Gage!

Senior Day
Thanks to those that came out to support senior day!! We were able to honor Author Holland, Dake Williams, and Kyle Peterson. Unfortunately Author and Kyle were not able to wrestle due to health reasons, but we do hope to see them back for the County Tournament at Blair in two weeks! Dake was able to compete and not disappoint with a pin against the Wootton opponent. We had a win against Gaithersburg and unfortunately gave up too many forfeits against Wootton to pull out the win.

The Arundel Invitational Duals
QO starts off the first day of the Duals with wins over North Caroline and Howard before falling to a very tough Cedar Cliff (PA) team. The second day QO gained a win over Bethesda-Chevy Chase and let a close one slip away against Leonardtown. Overall QO finished 3-5. The Outstanding team performer has to go to the Neubaum Brothers as they both finished 7-1 with 6 pins a piece!. Way to go guys!
