In 2018, Babe Ruth and other baseball leagues will be joining together to implement a single standard for baseball bats.

As many of you have seen over the years, bat types, styles and construction vary from league to league and from age to age. USA Baseball has created a standard regulation for bats starting in 2018. Babe Ruth, as well as the other types of leagues out there will be part of this new standard, by rule. Below, please find the link to the article that has been put out by USA Baseball. If your child plays in AAU, School, Travel, etc., you will find that different leagues may follow different bat rules. Please ensure that you follow through with the other leagues to verify before buying bats for future seasons. EBRL will be using the USA Baseball Bat Standard in 2018.
