Any player weighing 5% or more over the maximum CERTIFICATION weight for a Division at time of official physical examination will be assigned to the next higher division (unless age does not permit)

Certified weights are without helmet, shoulder pads, and shoes/cleats.
To scrimmage, players cannot weigh more than 5 pounds of the Max. Certification Weight as shown above.
No player, prior to certification, shall be allowed to participate in contact (hitting) if weighing 10 lbs. or more than the Max. Certification weight.
We will not accept any physical that DOES NOT have the Doctor's Stamp.
No player is allowed to participate in SCJAAF without having a current physical on file with their chapter (dated no earlier than March 22, 2019). Physicals done by a Chiropractor or Registered Nurse will NOT be accepted

Tackle Football is placed on division teams in accordance with the weight and age eligibility chart below. The following weight limits are with players wearing a t-shirt and shorts at Conference Weight Certification.
Players will be placed on division teams in accordance with the weight and age eligibility chart. Any player weighing 5% or more overmaximum weight at time of official physical examination will be assigned to the next weight division, if age permits. Any player weighing more than certified weight but less than 5% may be assigned to a higher division at the discretion of the Chapter Athletic Director of Commissioner. Please note: When placing a player in a Division, per conference rules, we must go by the weight on the player’s physical form turned in.
Each player must make weight for division/age by the first Conference Weight Certification date. Any player that is over the weight limit will be noted on the Team Red Roster and shall have until the Second Chance to make weight at Conference Weight Certification Date. If the player fails to make weight by the Second Conference Certification date, that player will be lined off the Team Red Roster and unable to play this season and there will be NO REFUNDS.
