Oceanside National Little League has three golf carts. Please operate them safely and treat them like your own.
• Carts are to be driven by licensed drivers only.
• Carts are designed to carry up to three people (two adults and one child). Passengers are not allowed to ride in the back of the cart.
• Managers are issued a key that will work for cart #2 and #3. If you need to use cart #1, the key is available at the snack bar. The carts number is on the front hood.
• Always plug in the battery charger and remember to remove any trash when you return a cart to the cart barn or storage container.
Cart #1 is an electric cart and should be used by snack bar personnel and members of ONLL Board of Directors who are performing field duty. If cart #2 and cart #3 are not available, cart #1 can be used to drag and prepare the fields. Cart #1 is parked at the east end of the parking lot in the “cart barn,” a cinder block structure between field #1 (T-Ball Field) and the soccer field.
Cart #2 is a gas cart and the oldest cart in the fleet. No more than two people should be in this cart when it is in use. This cart can be used to drag and prepare field #3 (Majors Field). It should only be used to drag and prepare other fields if the other carts are not available. If cart #1 and cart #3 are inoperable, cart #2 may be used to drag and prepare field #2 (Juniors Field) and KMS Field. This cart is parked in the storage container at field #3.
Cart #3 is designated for field #2 (Juniors Field) and KMS Field (AAA Field). If cart #2 is inoperable, cart #3 can be used to drag and prepare field #3. Cart #3 is parked at the cart barn. If you’re planning to prepare field #2 or KMS Field, we suggest that you park your vehicle near the cart barn, load your gear into the cart and drive to the field from there.
