GAME 1.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....10.......CENTURY 3 CHEVROLET....3

Bill Minnick threw 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief of Jon Corcoran to pick up the save in Harvey's opening game victory. Minnick allowed just 1 hit and 1 walk after he entered the 5-3 game with two on and one out in the 4th inning. George Nahay with 3 hits lead Harvey's who also got 2 each from Tim Donnelly (home run and 4 rbis) and Anthony DeFillipo. Aaron Krull had 2 hits for Century 3.

GAME 2.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....15.......CENTURY 3 CHEVROLET....3.......5 INNINGS

Anthony DeFillipo and Andy Cornell lead Harvey's as they move onto the semi finals. Defillipo went 4 for 4 with his 2nd homer of the series and was helped by 2 hits each from Tim Donnelly, Brett Ferlic, Jake Kostelnik, John Kutzfara and Everett Lesko. Cornell picked up the 5 inning win as he allowed just 4 hits, 2 walks and 1 earned run.

**SEMI FINALS**

Bowser & Clancy's Pub

GAME 1.......BOWSER....8.......CLANCY'S PUB....0

Ben Weidemer allowed just 1 hit while recording 4 strikeouts and walking 3. Roy Duttine lead the Twins offense with 3 hits who also got 2 each from Kyle Lucot and Jack Shaffer. Clancy's only hit came with no outs in the 7th inning. Bowser scored 5 times in the 7th with Shaffer's home run the big blow.

GAME 2.......CLANCY'S PUB....3.......BOWSER....2

Winning pitcher Mike Pezzone singled in the tie breaking run in the 5th inning as Clancy's Pub evened the series. Bowser's rally in the 7th came up short as they ended the game with the bases loaded. Pezzone allowed just 5 hits and 2 walks to go with 6 strikeouts. Jim Onder took the hard luck loss for Bowser as he allowed just 1 earned run. Onder also only allowed 5 hits and struck out 5. Brian Grise and Onder had 2 hits each for the Twins.

GAME 3.......CLANCY'S PUB....6.......BOWSER....2

Lou Kammermeier went the distance for Clancy's as he held Bowser to just 6 hits and a walk. Two throwing errors by Bowser in the first half of the game and 3 Clancy runs in the 3rd put the Tarheels ahead for good at 4-1 after 3 innings. Mike Wilcox and Brandon Dittmar had 2 hits each for Clancy's as Roy Duttine had 2 for the Twins.

GAME 4.......BOWSER....10.......CLANCY'S PUB....2

The pitching in the series continues to be the main story and tonight was Jeff Greiner's turn to shine. Bowser scored 5 times in the third on their way to an 8-0 lead. Greiner held Clancy's to just 3 hits and 4 walks while recording 7 strikeouts. Jim Onder lead the Twins offense with 3 hits and 2 rbis. Bowser also got 2 hits each from Dan Lippert and Dalaine Ofchinick. The Tarheels middle infield defense made five errors that lead to three unearned runs to help the Twins pull away. The fact Greiner was limited to just 12 innings this season while recovering from arm surgery made his complete game performance even more surprisingly impressive.

GAME 5.......BOWSER....5.......CLANCY'S PUB....0

Jim Onder's pitching and Bowser's defense leads the Twins back to the finals. In 2011 Clancy's Pub defeated Bowser in the semi finals on their way to the title. Onder held Clancy's to just four hits and two walks while his defense turned two double plays and threw out a would be base stealer. Also a diving catch by Brian Grise ended a second inning rally and prevented two Clancy's runs. Clancy's Pub defense allowed the Twins the early lead when a two out first inning error put Bowser up 2-0. Dalaine Ofchinick went 3 for 3 and Dan Lippert had two hits to lead the Twins.

Harvey Wilner's Tavern & Quinn Construction

GAME 1.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....14.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....4.......5 INNINGS

Quinn struck first for 4 runs in the 2nd only to see Harvey's responded with 4 runs in the top of the 3rd making it 4-4. Quinn's added one in the bottom of the third and then 5 more in the 4th giving them a 10-4 lead. Quinn's ended the game with 4 more runs in the 5th as Harveys walked the last 5 batters of the game. Jim Pasquine had 3 hits, Tarran Senay had 2 hits, Nick Yobbi had 2 hits and 3 RBIs, Zack Miller had 2 hits and 4 RBIs and Tony Kostelnik scored 3 times. Pasquine pitched the final 2 1/3 innings and didn't allow a run.

GAME 2.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....4.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....0

Dan Laird retired the first 13 batters to start the game on his way to a 2 hit shutout. Quinn scored single runs in the first, second, sixth and seventh to support Laird who walked none whlie recording 9 strikeouts. Anthony Marks and Zack Miller had 2 hits each for the Mudcats who also got a home run from Tarran Senay.

GAME 3.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....13.......HARVEY WILNER'S TAVERN....3.......6 INNINGS

Jim Pasquine doubled 4 times off the outfield fence and drove in 3 runs to lead Quinn Construction to their first ever appearance in the finals. Anthony Marks also had 4 hits and 2 rbis for Quinn who scored 6 times to break a 2-2 third inning tie. A.J. Olasz pitched 5 1/3 innings allowing 5 hits, 4 walks and 2 earned runs to pick up the win. The Mudcats also got 2 hits each from Tony Kostelnik and Zack Miller.

**FINALS**

Bowser & Quinn Construction

GAME 1.......BOWSER....10.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....2

Bowser got things going with four in the second inning and finsihed it off with three in the sixth on their way to a 10-2 victory. Ben Weidemer went six innings for the win allowing 7 hits, 2 walks and 1 run before Mark Breisinger took over for the seventh inning. The Twins were lead by two hits each from Jim Onder and Dan Lippert. For Quinn Construction, Chris Miller drove in both Mudcat runs on 3 hits (double and a home run) and Dean Langholz had 2 hits.

GAME 2.......BOWSER....2.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....1

Quinn Construction loaded the bases with 2 outs in the top of the seventh and was about to take the lead when Chris Miller drove a Jeff Greiner fastball to the warning track. The threat came to an end when right fielder Roy Duttine came up with a snow cone catch just before crashing into the outfield fence. Greiner allowed 5 hits in picking up his 2nd complete game post season victory. Nick Yobbi and Jason Milko for Quinn combined to hold Bowser to 4 hits. Quinn got their run in the 3rd to make the score 2-1 before the pitchers for both teams pitched their way out of several jams. Anthony Marks of Quinn was the only batter to get 2 hits in the game.

GAME 3.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....7.......BOWSER....4

Tony Kostelnik launched a three run, two out double in the bottom of the 6th inning to put Quinn Construction up 7-4. Bowser lead 4-0 after three innings off a two run homer from Nathan Raffle and a solo shot from Jim Onder. Quinn starter Dan Laird though settled down after that as he allowed just one hit in the last 4 1/3 innings of the game. Chris Miller's two run homer was part of a four run fifth inning for Quinn when they tied the game. Dan Campbell and Kostelnik had 2 hits each for Quinn while Brian Grise and Onder did the same for Bowser.

GAME 4.......BOWSER....6.......QUINN CONSTRUCTION....0

Ben Weidemer picked up his second victory of the finals to lead Bowser to the 2012 DNL Championship. This is manager Andy Brettschneider and the Twins seventh title in the last eight years with the others coming from 2005 to 2010. Weidemer went the distance allowing just three hits and three walks while recording five strikeouts. Bowser scratched out a run in the first and two more in the fourth before finishing off the scoring in the sixth. At the plate Bowser got two hits each from Brain Grise, who also drove in two runs, and Jack Shaffer.
