All Coaches Must...

All coaches must be able to pass a background clearance and child abuse clearance.

This is a MUST for ALL coaches.

For returning coaches please reach out to Jeannie @ mt.topjrcomets@gmail.com or 570.582.8089 to see if your clearances are still eligible or if new ones need to be processed.

Heads Up Certification

April 10, 2017

All coaches will need to be USA Football Heads Up Certified.  This Certification needs to be renewed every year.

Whether you’re a veteran coach or it’s your first time on the sidelines, the Tackle certification is a great resource. It’ll let you step on the field armed with the knowledge and ability to develop good habits in your players and keep them safer. Key topics include concussion awareness, heat and hydration, tackling, and equipment fitting. And the Tackle certification meets the certification requirement for Heads Up Football youth leagues.

*Recertification Option: If you completed the Youth Tackle Certification in the previous year, you only need to take the recertification course and not the full certification.

**For returning coaches:  Use the same log-in as last year and complete the same way.  Follow the steps for recertification.
