1 Gold Medal victory at the Canadian National Championship at the 2002 Challenge Trophy National Tournament in St. John's, Newfoundland
1 Silver Medal victory at the Canadian National Championship at the 2017 Challenge Trophy National Tournament in Surrey, BC
2 Bronze Medal victories at the Canadian National Championships in 1996 and 2013 Challenge Trophy National Tournament in Halifax
13 MSA Provincial Cup Championships in 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023 (no MSA Cups played in 2020 and 2021 due to Pandemic)
15 Outdoor Premier League Championships with 14 championships in the Manitoba Major Soccer League Premier Division in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, 2023 and 1 championship in the now defunct Super Soccer Alliance in 2001
The Lions won the last ever Super Soccer Alliance League Championship in 2001. Following this championship and during the clubs eighth year of existence, the Lions joined the newly created Manitoba Major Soccer League Premier Division for the 2002 Outdoor soccer season.
The club has won the MMSL Premier League Championship on 13 occasions (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)
Since our inception in 1995, we have qualified for the MSA Cup final on 17 occasions (13-4 overall MSA Cup Record), winning the MSA Cup Championship on 13 occasions (1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2007, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2023). (No MSA Cups played in 2020 and 2021 due to Pandemic)
From 2002 through 2019, the Lions have played 327 MMSL League matches. The clubs record during that time is 270 wins, 31 losses, and 26 ties. During those 18 seasons, the Lions have outscored our opponents 1159-230, a goal differential of +929 goals. The Lions MMSL historic winning percentage is 85.2%. 270-31-26 (327 games)
In 2012, the Sons of Italy Lions became known as the FC Winnipeg Lions.

The FC Winnipeg Lions Joe Kostek Memorial Award
This award is selected in honour of our Manager Joe Kostek, who passed away during the 2010 outdoor season. This award is selected by the Lions management and is not an annual award, but rather is an award that is given in recognition of a personal outstanding event or milestone by a Lions player:

The Lions have shown a commitment to youth development, and thus FC Winnipeg Lions have provided a combination of experience and youth in our on-field product. This combination has allowed for exciting on-field success throughout the club's first eight seasons. The Lions organization is extremely proud of its on and off field achievements during its first eight years of existence.
