This years (2016)  rough schedule has been uploaded to the league page.  Just click on 2016 schedule in blue area to the left

All players interested in trying out for the Senior American Legion Baseball Team for the summer 2016 season should keep watching this page.

 

All players must be residents of Springfield/Morton schoool district and should be currently registered as members of Springfield Athletic Association for the 2016 season.

 

Contact travel baseball director  Jeff Kilgallen at 610 761 7009 with any questions.

 

After Jan 1 2016 : To register/sign up to play, go to http://www.springfieldaa.org/Default.aspx?tabid=966670 and register.  Select travel baseball in the sign up menu.

 

Rough schedule for 2016 :
 
Season starts around May 21 and continues thru July 2nd.  Usually play 3 games per week but rain outs can force more

 

Double elimination playoffs tourney beginning about July 5th and ending about July 13th. 

 

Please leave open the weekends of :

Maybe a mid June Saturday DH.

Jun 25/26 (End of season crunch) and July 8/9 for the playoff tourney.

 If win league Tourney, we move to Regional State tourney at (Spring City)  July 16-20.

 Next level = State Championship July 26-Aug 30 at Boyertown, PA. 

Next Level = Mid Atlantic National Championship  Aug 3-7 at Leesburg, VA

 National World Series = Aug 11 -Aug 16 at Shelby, NC 

  2016 bats = wood (Must be single piece of wood NO COMPOSITE WOOD)

 Age Cut offs:  2016 = 1997 and after (No College Players allowed in 2015 and follow)
