September 14, 2020 Virtual Meeting Minutes

In Attendance:  Travis Martin, Adam Howard, Jason Korando, Shelly Ehresman

-          Trevor is working on a grant through SIA to fund the septic system because the school will not pay for it. 

-          Coaches need to make sure they are the dragging the fields in circles instead of lines back and forth so it doesn’t pull limestone into grass.

-          Coaches also need to adjust the feeder to the top level before feeding softballs to not further damage the wheels.

-          Food trucks came out, at no charge to us, for baseball games with success.  Thoughts are to setup food trucks for future games.

-          A 6U parent took their team pictures, at no cost to us, and is willing to take pictures for other teams.  Her profit is made off of selling picture packages.  Travis is going to send Shelly the information to distribute to softball teams.

-           Firestorm softball clinic that was supposed to be the week of 10/3/20 has been postponed until spring.  Thoughts are if they don’t charge us for the clinic that we will let them use the fields for free.  If they charge attendees, then we will charge them our normal fees. 

-          Mintonye to possibly hold 8U baseball tournament on 10/2-4.  More information to come on this.  Adam can help with getting trophies. 

-          October 4^th doesn’t work for most people to have the next meeting.  Discussion on possibly having the next meeting virtually again on a Tuesday or Thursday night later in September if baseball is hosting the tournament at Mintonye in October.
