NO JEWELRY !!  NO JEWELRY !!!!  If your child has any jewelry on (wrist, neck, earrings) have it removed or they CANNOT play.     Thank you.

Season end dates are: Junior Festival Games on Nov 2 at Mt Laurel turf; Senior Festival Games on Nov 3 at Mt Laurel turf

Welcome to the 2024 season

Please follow all instructions for parking and spectator areas... Parents/Fans are NOT entitled to sit/stand wherever they want to if the HOST site has other instructions for the location of the Fans !!!

SOUTHAMPTON fields: DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS NEXT TO THE FIELDS OR BEHIND THE FIELDS; use the Parking lot at 5 Retreat Rd near the playground/ behind the municipal building off Route 206.

MT LAUREL site: Parents/spectators are to remain OUTSIDE the Fenced fields & OUTSIDE the area between the 2 fields (between the nets). This area is restricted per Mt Laurel Rec.

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP Field: Spectators: Parents/spectators are to sit on the sideline closest to Restroom

MARLTON Turf Field: Parents and spectators are to remain OUTSIDE THE FENCED field. You can be on either side of the field.

NOTE on SR Games: The STANDINGS / RESULTS IN NO WAY REFLECTS WHO ARE THE BETTER TEAMS.  This is a RECREATION PROGRAM for the girls to enjoy playing the game and to want to continue to play. Any emphasis on winning at all costs is unacceptable. There are 11 towns that represent 52 teams in the JR and SR programs. Teams are to be creative if a game appears to be a mismatch....there is no way for anyone to know the ability of their team until games have been played. Coaches must know and abide by the rules (mercy, etc). They can be found under headlines if needed.

Parents/Fans: Enjoy the moments of your child playing; we all know all fast they grow up. And, as an official who is nearby your children playing, they really do not like you calling out to them. It does not help their play, rather it creates frustration when they don't "Follow your instructions". Let the Coaches coach, players play, refs officiate, and parents sit back and enjoy the game.

MISSION STATEMENT/LEAGUE OBJECTIVE:

Promote the game of field hockey through teaching basic fundamentals while having fun and building self-esteem. Growing from 140 players to currently over 650 young girls playing and more then 100 VOLUNTEER coaches. Our goal is for the girls to prepare to play at the next level. (Ex. playing on middle / high school teams). Although many games are competitive the outcome of the game is not our purpose. We ask that all Coaches, Parents and fans support the players in a positive manner.

The BCYFH recreation program provides an opportunity for girls in grades 3-8 to learn and play the game of field hockey while also understanding the rules of the game. The league is comprised of 2 divisions: JUNIORS: 8+gk (9v 9) Saturdays, Grades 3 to 5;  SENIORS: 11 v 11, Sundays, Grades 6 to 8. Several Friday nite games for both divisions. Girls must play on their own town team. Should a town not have a team, a player may play with another town.

In the event of ANY postponed/rescheduled games, notifications will be posted on this site.
