Player Profile

  • Virgil Watson   #29

  • DH

  • Virgil, originally from New York City, came to Baltimore in 1996 to attend Essex CC, and played a year with the old Della Rose's team (a precursor to Cooper Cleaning). He then moved on to Bethune Cookman in Florida, where he made his mark as a dangerous power hitter. He came back to Cooper Cleaning in 2003, and still has the wicked bat speed which can change the game with one swing.
