Division 1 Predictions

Narbonne vs. Birmingham

Jim Rose has built a great program at Birmingham but Narbonne is too good and will win this game to move on the semis.

Carson vs. Garfield

By far the most intriguing match-up of the week.  Carson is a very good squad lead by highly recruited Don'Yeh Patterson. This is by far one of the most talented teams Garfield has had when competing in Division 1 but will it be their year to finally advance to the semis? They key to the game will be containing Patterson. Garfield wins a close one and shocks the City Section.

Crenshaw vs. Dorsey

Crenshaw knows Dorsey so well but that is not even the point. Crenshaw is on a mission to show everyone they are the best team in the City Section by far. The Cougars want to make sure that people stop talking about Narbonne.

Venice vs. San Pedro

Venice is another team that feels left out of the title contender talk.  They are on a collision course to face Crenshaw in the semifinals. 

Division 2 Predictions

San Fernando vs. Bell

Defending champion San Fernando will rely on Cristian Solano's arm to get passed the Eagles.  It is said that Solano is the smartest QB in the City Section and always makes the right read.

Sylmar vs. Chatsworth

Chatsworth is that team that is getting hot at the right time.  Chatsworth keeps the playoff run going with another upset win over Sylmar

Grananda Hills vs. Grant

Granada Hills will take care of Grant and go on to the Semifinal game where they will have a very tough match-up

Eagle Rock vs. South Gate

There is some concern over last week's Eagle Rock come from behind win against over Hamilton. South Gate has their run machine fined tuned and oiled up with Thompson and Flatos.  South Gate wins this one in a close one.

Division 3 Predictions

View Park vs. Frederick Douglas

Frederick Douglas has put a nice season together but it ends on Friday against a very talented View Park team.

Wilson vs. Torres

This is the game of the week for Division 3. Wilson does not want to lose to a school that is less than 10 years old BUT Torres wins this one in a tightly contested game.

Poly vs. Santee

The Parrots will show everyone that they should have been the #1 seed in Division 3.

Bernstein vs. Rancho Dominguez

There is no doubt that Bernstein Football is more than prepared and hungry for a chance to make it to the championship. Rancho Dominguez will be a very tough opponent but Bernstein will pull off the win and continue their great season with a great group of kids.
