SHIPPENSBURG STARS

50-50 FOOTBALL POOL

This year we are combining paper pools with online pools again.  Everything is set up the same way for both styles.  Grading is done the same and tiebreaker is still done by total points of the game.  We are combining the two to try to get more players and bigger payouts.  Since we are combining paper pools and online pools we will be announcing the winners on the Stars website (http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=shipstars&sid=919788709).  Online players, just because it says you won on www.funofficepools.com website doesn’t mean you won overall.    

Paper pools can be picked up and dropped off at R A Yohe Restoration and Construction, 825 West King Street.  There will be a table set up just inside the glass entry doors.  We are asking for a donation of $1 per entry or a donation of $20 will get you entry into the whole season (includes first week of college, 17 weeks of college and NFL, and entry into the Bowl Bonanza).  Entries need to be turned in by noon on Saturday.  Color in the bubble of the team you are picking to win.  Ties will count as a loss and the tiebreaker is the total score of the game that is selected for that week.  Player with the most right will get half the pot and the player with the most wrong will receive $10.      

Online players, we ask that if you are planning on playing pools online that you donate for the season up front ($20).  The $20 will get you the first week of college football, 17 weeks of college football and NFL, and into the Bowl Bonanza.  Payments can either be by cash, check (mailed to SAAA at 4 Raven Way, Shippensburg PA 17257) or by PayPal (ShipStars72@gmail.com).  If doing PayPal make sure you select sending money to family or friends. 

Directions to play online:

Step 1 Create an account on www.funofficepools.com

Step 2 Joining a Pool

·         Click “join a pool” at the top in blue.

·         Pool Type:  Football Pickem

·         Pool Name: type in Shippensburg Stars 2018/2019

·         Password:  Stars2018

·         Selection Name:  type in anything

·         Click Join pool

Step 3 Selecting your picks

·         Once you click Join Pool the website will take you to our football pool page.  At the top it should say Shippensburg Stars 2018.

·         Hold curser over the green tab that says Picks.

·         More tabs will drop down.  Click on Weekly Pools

·         A page with Week 1 will appear

·         Scroll down till the football pool shows up and this is where you make your selections

·         Click either home pick or Away pick white box.

·         After selecting all your picks, you will see Tie Breaker Game.  Type in scores and hit save tiebreaker

·         Your entry is entered at this point

Step 4 Confirming your picks have been entered

·         Click the home tab at the top of the page

·         Where is says Your Office Pools, you will see game name, selection name, rank, and status.

·         Under status it should say in.

If you pay by PayPal leave the description/note are either blank or write in donation.  DO NOT PUT DOWN FOOTBALL POOL.  Thanks
