Billings Force 2 had an explosive first inning and cruised to a 16-3 victory over the Pride 12U girls on Saturday in the first game of a double header at Poly Vista Field in Billings. Pride sent 3 pitchers to the mound to give them some early season work including Jayci Ervin, Tessa Kleinman, and southpaw Morgan Evans.

• Cody Pride 12U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 17-3 loss to Billings Force 2 on Saturday. Billings Force 2 scored on a single, 2 stolen bases, and 2 doubles in the first inning.                 
• Cody Pride 12U scored one run on a stolen base in the first inning.
• Billings Force 2 took the lead for good with nine runs in the first inning.                
• Jayci Ervin, Ava Wollschlager, Ellie Ungrund, Riley Simone, and Laura Phillips all had one hit to lead Cody Pride 12U. Cody Pride 12U stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Laura led the way with two.
• Billings Force 2 collected 20 hits. Billings Force 2 tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases.
