45th Annual GGSA Opening Day

For the first time in many years GGSA Opening Day will not take place on the first Saturday in May as Mother Nature clearly made a statement this week with nearly 4 inches of rain. The 45th Annual event will now take place on Sunday with Opening Day festivities kicking off at 12 Noon with our annual Opening Ceremony followed by a full day of softball.
On Saturday our annual Chicken/Pork Chop BBQ Dinner Fundraiser will go on as planned rain or shine. Anyone who bought dinners should pick up their dinners at the big tent near the main parking lot. Drive-thru service is available. Please be sure to spread the word that dinners should be picked up between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Also fundraisers may be dropped off in the concession from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Take advantage of the extra time and stop in if you haven't already to take care of this. We will NOT be accepting fundraisers on Sunday as our officers will be busy with concessions, coaching, and being a parent.
