The Cody Pride 10U Girls played a series of games in Billings yesterday against the Billings Force and Montana Extreme. These were the first games of the season for this young Pride team.

The first game was against the Billings Force who dominated the Pride 25 to 4. The Cody girls showed resiliency though and bounced back to defeat the Montana Extreme in the 2nd game by a score of 11 to 9. In the 3rd game, Pride came up short against a different Montana Extreme team losing 17 to 8.

According to Coach Nielsen, "The girls learned a lot and showed lots of improvement. It was a good learning experience and all the teams were great." These early season match ups will really help Pride 10U get ready for the upcoming tournament season which starts on May 19-21st in Cody at the Heart Mountain Classic.
