Cody Pride 8 vs. Casper Cobras 7

It was not easy but the Cody Pride 14U showed a lot of perseverence and grit to come from behind and defeat the Casper Cobras in the championship game of the annual Douglas Diamonds tournament today. Pride was down 7 to 5 in the bottom of the 7th inning when Ashley Dunkerley stepped to the plate and ripped a two (2) RBI double to tie the game. Casper was not able to plate any runs in the top of the 8th and Cody was able to muster 1 run in the bottom of the 8th to seal the victor by a score of 8 to 7.

This was Cody's 2ns straight tournament title at the Douglas Diamonds tournament in the 14U division.
