Coach Code of Conduct:
· All coaches shall continually present themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and shall conduct themselves in a manner fitting as a member of the Fairfield Soccer FC.
· All coaches shall refrain from using any form of inappropriate language. This includes but is not limited to all profanity, gestures and/or abusive language toward any person/persons associated with the game of soccer and the Association.
· All coaches shall respect all decisions made by the Referees. Touching of a referee, by a coach, in any manner or form, will not be tolerated. Coaches may appeal a referee’s decision only through the appeal process as described in these by-laws.
· All coaches shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. This includes, prior to, during, and after a game as well as during the season.
· Coaches will share concerns privately with Executive Board as questions and concerns arise.
· Coaches will set an example of behavior for parents and players to follow.
· Coaches will not be combative with another coach, a member of association, or a parent.
· Inappropriate sideline behavior will not be tolerated.
· Coaches shall remain within the constraints of the coaching area, and shall not enter the field of play without the referee’s approval, and shall not station parents or other coaches behind or near the goals.
· Coaches are responsible for their parents and should not be asked to address parents who are not conducting themselves properly.
· The referee has complete power to Ask (ask to calm down) and Dismiss (dismiss out of game) each Coach if they feel necessary.
· If you are dismissed, you must leave the field of play at that time.
· Coaches must adhere to the Social Media Code of Conduct.
· Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may jeopardize the coaches standing with the Association and could be terms for disciplinary action.
Social Media Code of Conduct:
· All board members, coaches, spectators, and referees shall present themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and shall conduct themselves according to each code of conduct.
· Facebook, Instagram, and other social media cites will be used to share announcements, game cancellation, events, camps, registration, good news, pictures, and positive feedback.
· There will be no negative comments, gestures, or abusive language toward any person/ persons associated with the game of soccer and the association.
· Failure to comply with the “Code of Conduct” of the association will be removed from social media cites and can lose privileges to attend Association events.
· As adults and members of the board and parents, we set the tone, we set examples and we want this association to be represented in the best way possible.
Spectators Code Of Conduct:
· All spectators shall continually present themselves in a sportsmanlike manner and shall conduct themselves in a manner fitting as soccer spectators and while watching soccer teams associated with the Association.
· Cheering and positive support is encouraged; booing or verbal/physical abuse of any player, coach, referee, or spectator will be strictly prohibited.
· All spectators shall refrain from using any form of inappropriate language. This includes but is not limited to all profanity, gestures and/or abusive language toward any person/persons associated with the game of soccer and the Association.
· All spectators shall respect all decisions made by the Referees. Touching of a referee, by a spectator, in any manner or form, will not be tolerated. Any verbal or physical abuse directed toward the referees, by any spectator will mean immediate removal from the soccer complex and a suspension of all privileges regarding the Association.
· All spectators shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. This includes, prior to, during, after a game, and throughout season.
· Inappropriate sideline behavior will not be tolerated.
· Spectators shall remain within the constraints of the spectator area, and shall not enter the field of play without the referee’s approval.
· Spectators shall not station themselves behind or around the goals, or on the end line of any field.
· The referee has complete power to Ask (ask to calm down) and Dismiss (dismiss out of game) any spectator if they feel necessary.
· Failure of any spectator to fully comply with the “Code of Conduct” of the Association will result in immediate forfeiture all privileges for attendance at Association events.
Players Code Of Conduct:
· No player shall willfully abuse, taunt or ridicule any referee, league official, parent, spectator, player or other person/persons associated with the Fairfield Soccer Fc while attending events sponsored by the Association.
· All players shall refrain from using any form of inappropriate language.
· All players shall respect the decisions made by the referees. Once a referee’s decision is made, all players shall abide by the decision.
· All shall wear appropriate uniforms and equipment as designated by the Association and shall play the game by the rules as set forth by the Association and the N.T.S.S.A.
· All players shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.
· Any player not conducting themselves in manner as set forth shall be disciplined by the Association, with penalties being assessed by a representative of the Association.
· These penalties can range from a yellow card warning, to a red card ejection, and/or further disciplinary measures issued by the Association which can include forfeiture of the player’s status with the Association.
