About the Sharks Baseball Academy Program  

Sharks Baseball was started in 1998. The goal of the program is to provide high quality instruction and baseball to players who desire a higher level of competition and have aspirations to play in HS and College. Our teams compete against teams from all over Long Island including some regional and national events such as Cooperstown, Perfect Game, BCP, Ripken, Baseball Heaven, Diamond Nation, Youth Baseball Nationals, NYEB.  Teams range in age from 7U-10U.

Our focus is on teamwork and player development all while creating a winning culture. We field teams from 7U-10U.

All prospective players must try out before being considered for a roster spot.

Our player package includes the following:

Two coaches

Uniform package: 2 New Balance jerseys, hat, pants, socks, belt, practice shirt (additional fee for team bag)

Organizational Winter Workouts - 7U/8U weekly practices, 9U/10U 2x per week (January through mid-March) with several of the organizations trainers/coaches

Spring and Summer
League Play - ECYB or LI Hot Stove

2 Local Tournaments (out-of-state tournaments may be added depending on level of play for an additional fee)

2 on field practices per week (weather and schedule permitting) starting the end of March through the end of the summer season

Spring League Play - 7U/8U 5 game schedule, 9U/10U 10 game schedule
Summer League Play - 7U/8U 12 game schedule, 9U/10U 16 game schedule

Sharks Baseball Academy also plays a Fall season, which is a separate registration and fee.
