Talent of Players

This adult league is meant to act as an inclusive house league.  We are looking for players who are primarily looking to have fun and have maybe not played in a few years but want to get back into “baseball” not softball.  Players will be selected via a draft to keep teams on par each season.  If you wish to play with a friend please provide their name in the notes field upon registration.

Regular Season Games

Games will last 7 innings or two hours.  They will be played in Clarington at Clarington Fields North West or South West as well as Soper Creek.  The regular season is slated to start on May 12th.  The regular season will consist of 14 games with playoffs to follow.  Game times will be 6:30pm or 9pm

Playoff Games

The Playoff schedule will depend on weather/rainouts our structure will be announced later on in the season.

Sponsors

We generally have a sponsor per team which will provide shirts for the season.  If you are interested in sponsoring please contact Stephen at stephenrussellsmith@gmail.com.

Equipment

Players will be required to have their own baseball glove, batting helmet as well as Wood/Composite bat.  Baseballs and bases will be provided as well as line-up cards and score books.  Catchers will be required to have their own gear.  It would not be possible to have a set that would fit every size player.  Metal cleats are permitted for use in the league.

Fees

The fee to play this year is $190.00 per player.  This is to cover everything from player insurance, umpires, baseballs, diamond fees and lights.  If we find there is extra room in the budget come playoff time we will look to add more games.
