Shaun Alexander completed 15 of 18 for 274 yards and three touchdowns to lead Cathedral (4-0) to a 62-0 rout of Contreras in an intersectional game.

The Phantoms piled up 656 yards of total offense against the over-matched team from the City Section.

The passing of Alexander to Randall Carroll (four catches for 134 yards, TD) was unstoppable, but so was a running attack that netted 382 yards. Kristaan Ivory ran for 132 yards and a TD on five carries and Kevin Ally had 101 yards and a score on four attempts. Ally also caught a touchdown pass.

Cathedral hosts Eagle Rock Saturday in a nonleague game.
