The Comedy "Food Stamps" Opens Reel Rasquache Art & Film Festival

Food Stamps follows the coming-of-age trials and tribulations of a mild-mannered box boy who is forced to live at home because he hasn’t “earned parole” from his over-protective mother and no nonsense construction worker father. Food Stamps is a comedy that in addition to Danny Trejo, stars Emilio Rivera (Anarchy) Dyana Ortelli, Noel Gugliemi and comedian Joey Medina.

"Food Stamps"







The "Audience Choice" award was presented to Director, Alfredo Ramos for his comedy Food Stamps that premiered to a full house on opening night at the festival.

Festival favorite Food Stamps was attended by Director, Alfredo Ramos (Road Dogz) as well as several cast members including Valente Rodriguez (George Lopez), Ron Alvarez (Off the Map), Rolando Molina (Bruce Almighty), Noel Gugliemi (The Fast and the Furious), Walter Perez (Fame), Ruben Gonzalez (Selena), Dyana Ortelli (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Renee Victor (Weeds), David Wheeler and Maria Inez Perez.
