Ted is the story of John Bennet,a boy from Boston, who has no friends and is also unpopular.One Christmas,his parents give him a teddy bear, he makes a wish and it comes to life.Fast forward 27 years later, The boy is now a 35 year old rent a car worker (played by Mark Wahlberg), who is dating a very successful junior executive (played by Mila Kuntis) and his live action teddy bear,Ted(played by Seth MacFarlane.)

John eventually has to choose between his childhood friend and his girlfriend of four years. Adding to that that Ted is a drinking, pot smoking and partying former celebrity teddy bear.
The movie Ted is Seth MacFarlane's(who also makes his movie directorial debut) hilarious take on what one must do to grow up. This movie is filled with crude and sometimes irreverent humor,which add to the plot. If one is not into the TV show "Family Guy" this movie will "go over your head," because a great number of the jokes are in the style of the TV show.One example is Ted has to get a job,so in the interview,he tries to mess up the interview by saying crazy things, and ironically he still gets hired.

Another good thing avout this movie is that the characters of the story also flow smoothly to tell a great story.
From start to finish the movie had this writer laughing,almost out of my seat. MacFarlane, also mixes in a little romance into the film as well. Overall, this film is a winner and a must see for everyone. (Grade=A+)
