Re: Changes in Starting Line-Up at Babe Ruth League Headquarters
Please be advised that Controller Donna Mahoney will be retiring from the day to day operations of Babe Ruth Headquarters as of January 31, 2019. A 28-year veteran employee, Donna’s strong financial acumen and deep understanding of our business has been invaluable to Babe Ruth League, Inc. She has played a key role in ensuring the highest standards of disclosure for the company’s financial reporting. We thank Donna for her many contributions and wish her the best as she starts the next chapter of her life.
Assistant Controller Kim Krauss, who has worked with Donna for the past seven years, will be assuming many of Donna’s responsibilities. Kim joined Babe Ruth League in 2012 as an accountant. She was promoted to Assistant Controller and has since held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. Kim is a strategic leader with an established record of success. She will be working closely with Donna as she transitions to full retirement later this calendar year.
Sharon Montervino, who has been a member of the Babe Ruth team for over 32 years, will be shifting from her Service Representative position to focus on the accounting operations of Babe Ruth League to assist Kim Krauss. Because of her personal integrity and commitment to the company, Sharon is well deserving of this new career opportunity with Babe Ruth League.
As we know that many of you have come to rely on Sharon for excellent service, we are pleased to announce that Jessica LaBella will be taking the lead as Service Representative for the Middle Atlantic Region. Jessica has served as a Headquarters Service Rep for other regions and has demonstrated the same dedication and enthusiastic commitment for the Commissioners, leagues and teams under her jurisdiction. We are confident that you will enjoy the same satisfaction of service and assistance working with Jessica as you have experienced with Sharon Montervino.
