6 Teams will be taking part in U10 & U12 cetgories with some carefully considered rules to make each game competitive, exciting, full of experiences and most importantly to help develop players, officials and coaches.
TOURNAMENT GENERAL RULES:
NO NBL Players allowed
ALL Players to be Registered with Basketball England (Licence Numbers to be made available)
Games will be 2 Halves. U10 (10 Mins), U14/16 (12 Mins)
Home Team ALWAYS to sit on Left Side of the Table Officials
All Substitutions to be done via Table
1 Time out per Half (30 Secs to 60 seconds depending on age group)
No heckling, No arguments, No Shouting at officials (they are all human and mistakes will be made).
Game change-over – please make this as quick as possible.
Any Team wishing to put forward Officials (Table & Referees), please get in touch with Tournament GM. These are ALL Paid jobs.
First game Teams to be at venue 20 Minutes before hand to organise Score Sheets – emailing Full Team Lists to Tournament GM prior to tournaments would be greatly appreciated.

UNDER 10:
10 Minute Halves
NO Back Court violation
NO 24 Second Violation
NO 3 Second Violation
Shooting Fouls = 1 Point + Possession.
Man to Man Defence. Full Court Man Press is allowed.
If team winning by 20 points+ NO Press allowed.
All Players to Play in 1st Half.
UNDER 12:
Shooting Fouls = 1 Point + Possession.
Man to Man Defence. Full Court Man Press is allowed.
If team winning by 20 points+ NO Press allowed.
All Players to Play in 1st Half.
UNDER 14/16:
Man to Man Defence
1st Half Full Court Man Press. 2nd Half - Coach’s Choice.
If team winning by 20 points+ NO Press allowed.
Shooting Fouls = 1 Shot only, worth 2 or 3 Points.
And 1 Plays – as normal.
All Players to Play in 1st Half.
