Adult Code of Conduct

 

 

ALL PARENTS, MANAGERS & COACHES

 

  1.  SHALL RESPECT ONE ANOTHER
  2.  SHALL RESPECT THE OFFICIALS DECISIONS
  3.  SHALL ENGAGE IN FAIR PLAY AND ABIDE BY ALL GAME RULES
  4.  SHALL REFRAIN FROM ENGAGING IN TAUNTING OF OTHER MANAGERS, COACHES, PARENTS, SPECTATORS, OFFICIALS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PLAYERS BY MEANS OF BAITING OR RIDICULING
  5.  SHALL REFRAIN FROM BE-LITTLING BY VERBAL and/or PROFANE ABUSE OF OTHER MANAGERS, COACHES, PARENTS, SPECTATORS, OFFICIALS, OTHER SPECTATORS AND AGAIN MOST IMPORTANTLY PLAYERS
  6.  SHALL REFRAIN FROM THREATENING PHYSICAL VIOLENCE OR ENGAGING IN ANY FORM OF PHYSICAL VIOLENCE
  7.  SHALL WIN & LOSE WITH GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND SHALL STRIVE TO MAKE YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS REWARDING FOR ALL
  8.  NO SMOKING ON & OFF THE FIELD DURING YOUR TEAMS GAMES OR PRACTICES

(  PLEASE: REMEMBER TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR OUR YOUTH  )

 

The ATYB board WILL suspend any manager, coach, parent, player, spectator, other participant or official from future ATYB youth sports events if that person:

A.   Engages in verbal abuse or threatens physical violence toward ANYONE

B.    Initiates a fight or scuffle with ANYONE

C.   Engages in repeated and flagrant violations of the ATYB code of conduct

 

In the event that a manager, coach, parent, player, spectator, other participant or official is suspended from attending ATYB sponsored youth events, that person may petition the ATYB board for permission to resume attendance and/or participation. Before being allowed to attend and/or participate further in ATYB sponsored youth sports events, the ATYB board may require proof of completion on anger management counseling or its equivalent.
