Hayward United travelled down to Barron for their second WPASL match as they took on newcomers FC Midnimo. Midnimo scored early in the game but the Wolfpack tied the game midway through the first half when Nils Eckstrom finished a perfectly slotted ball from Ethan Wolfe. Hayward then took the lead 10 minutes into the second half when Cole Gewerth scored on a bar-down volley, with Nik Nordquist serving the ball in. FC Midnimo scored in the 81st and 89th minutes to win the game and take home 3 points. Marshall Kennell finished with 3 saves on the night.

 

The Wolfpack are back in action on Saturday night as they travel to St Croix Falls for a 6pm game. They then return home to take on league leading Eau Claire Bateaux at 4pm on Sunday at the Hayward Soccer Complex.
