Sign up for Windham Youth Volleyball Association (WYVBA) and be part of Maine’s growing volleyball community!
Who we are: WYVBA began in 2015. Our goal is to introduce the sport of volleyball to kids in grades 6, 7 & 8 and be a starting point for those who have aspirations of playing in High School and beyond. Volleyball is a fall varsity sport at the high school level and is a lifelong sport that everyone can play! This group is open to all middle school students, in Windham, Raymond, and surrounding towns.
What we do: WYVBA is a club team sport for middle school players (grades 6-8) who want to learn to play volleyball.
When we play: Although we're not a school sport, our season follows the middle school fall schedule. We have daily practices after school in the Windham Middle School gym. Once players have learned the basic fundamentals, we'll compete against teams from surrounding middle schools. We often have a summer clinic too - stay tuned for info on that.
Player cost: $90 for the season, plus $20 for a personalized team jersey if you don't have yours from last year (they can be used from season to season). Let us know if you need financial assistance.
Equipment needed: indoor court shoes, kneepads & a good attitude!
Note: Transportation to practices and games is the player/parent's responsibility (bus transportation isn't available because we're not a middle school sport...yet).
