To The Midweek Managers and Players:

Please be advised that the Midweek All-Star game and Home Run derby is postponed due to weather. As soon as I know if we can get a makeup date I will let everyone know. I would like to thank Dean Glansman from The Nassau Pirates and Steve Bonilla from The Long Island Twins for all your help in getting this event together even though it is not going to happen today.

To All Long Island Stan Musial Managers and Players,

As we prepare for our annual All Star games this weekend, I would like to thank you all for your efforts and co-operation getting us to this point. As you all know the weather has not been co-operating with us this year. As of last night, we have had 100 games postponed to weather related conditions. Add in that we lost Bay Park this year because of maintenance, and then Birchwood Park, Tanner Park and Tully Park due to lights we have a drastic shortage of night fields to use. Not to mention that we have not used North Woodmere Park for the last 3 years because the lights have not been repaired. I assure you all that we will do the best we possibly can to get you as many games as possible. Hopefully the weather will allow us to enjoy our All Star games this weekend. Please make sure your players all arrive on time. Remember to let them know that players and fans must pay $5.00 at the gate. It is a small amount to pay to play at such a beautiful ball park. Please be respectful and  let’s have some fun.
