Playoff ranking will be determined by “points”; 2 points for each win and 1 point for each tie (standings are posted on the website under “Results”).
-
If teams are tied in points, head to head play will be the tie breaker.
-
If teams are still tied, runs allowed will be the next tie breaker.
-
Playoffs will be SINGLE elimination.
-
Top seeded team will be the home team in each game.
- Run Rule will be in effect.
-
The 1:30 time limit will be in effect for all playoff games; no new inning may begin with 5 minutes or less left on the clock.
-
In all games, except the finals, games called because of bad weather will be official if the losing team has batted FOUR times.
- If the game is tied upon finishing(time limit or complete 7 innings) the International Tie Breaker is in effect.
-
If the game is stopped due to bad weather and postponed until another night, the game will resume when rescheduled, exactly where it left off.
-
Forfeit time is 15 minutes after official start time of game.
-
All protests must be decided at the field at the time of the protest, before the next live ball. The scorekeeper, site supervisor and umpire(s) will comprise the Protest Committee. (Judgement calls cannot be protested)
-
Any player or coach ejected from a playoff game will be ineligible for the remainder of the playoffs.
-
Only registered players on your roster who have played in a MINIMUM of one game during the season, are eligible to play in the playoffs. NO GUEST PLAYERS OR PICKUPS. If an illegal player is used, and their eligibility is challenged by the opposing coach, and it is concluded that the player IS ILLEGAL, the team she is playing for will forfeit the game and the entire team will be declared ineligible for the remaining playoff games.
