Has offers to play pro following season
SUMMERDALE, Pa.—Ahead of what is likely an uncertain 2021 season owing to the global coronavirus pandemic, Central Penn College All-American outfielder Connor Graham announced he has likely played his final game with the Knights.
"I have so much appreciation for Knights Nation," Graham said. "The love and support I have received from faculty, administration, staff, media, and fans in my time here has been remarkable, and Central Penn will always be a second home to me."
With a financial investments advisor internship job opportunity at Ameriprise Financial Services, a Fortune 500 wealth management company, and offers to play professionally in France and Germany, the senior outfielder confirms the COVID-shortened campaign of 2020 was his final appearance at the collegiate level.
On the baseball field, Graham was one of the Knights’ top offensive threats. During his last season he batted .435 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI, while scoring 12 runs, and also playing stellar defense.
Graham hit .414/.477/.896 with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs, 45 RBIs and 12 steals during his two seasons at Central Penn. He received All-America honorable mention in 2019 and was named First Team Academic All-America in 2020 and 2019.
The Northern HS (Owings, Md.) product hit .362/.428/.584 with 11 doubles, 2 triples, 10 home runs, 64 RBIs and 19 steals during his college career, including Anne Arundel Community College (2018) and Virginia Wesleyan University (2017).
"Thank you, Central Penn, Coach (Robert) Stern, and my brothers. I will always look back on our journey with Knights Nation pride."
