Non-wood and laminated bats used in MBDL play for Majors division shall bear the USA Baseball logo signifying that the bat meets the USABat - USA Baseball's Youth Bat Performance Standard. The bat diameter shall not exceed 2 5/8 inches. Note: all wood bats stamped 'Official Baseball" are allowed.
Bats used in Intermediate (50/70) and Middle School League
Non-wood and laminated bats used in MBDL play for the Intermediate (50/70) and Middle School divisions shall bear the USA Baseball logo signifying that the bat meets the USABat - USA Baseball's Youth Bat Performance Standard or the BBCOR logo - Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution performance standard. The bat diameter shall not exceed 2 5/8 inches. Note: all wood bats stamped 'Official Baseball" are allowed.
Bats used in Big Diamond Division
Non-wood and laminated bats used in MBDL play for the Big Diamond Division shall bear the BBCOR logo signifying that the bat meets the BBCOR - Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution performance standard. The bat diameter shall not exceed 2 5/8 inches. Note: all wood bats stamped 'Official Baseball" are allowed.
Refer to Little League rule 6.06d for the penalties resulting in using an illegal bat.
