Welcome to Rosedale Minor Hockey! We thank you for volunteering in our hockey community. My role as your TDC contact is to assist you in completing the certification you require either online, or at a clinic.
For anyone who is a coach, trainer, bench helper or manager, you are required to complete the RISL (respect in sports activity leader) online course. Any parents/people involved at Rosedale are welcome to do so as well. RISL is the old speak out course, so those with a PRC number are not required to do RISL. It does not expire. Please advise me that you have your speak out. The link to this site is https://alliance.respectgroupinc.com/
All coaches, trainers, executives and volunteers must also review the online Rowan’s Law. The information can be found at https://www.ontario.ca/page/rowans-law-concussion-awareness-resources .
For those who are coaches at RMH this year who have not completed their certification as a coach, the D-1 and C-2 course (on ice portion) will be held at Dofasco Arena, which is now known as the F.C. Sherman Centre. Once completed, it never expires. There is an online portion which must be completed prior to me registering you in a course.
