Refundable Concession Stand Volunteer Fee

Each season, our program services around 400 kids across 30 teams which is run by a small board consisting of 3-5 people. To maintain the program and keep it running, we rely on volunteers to help coach, prepare fields, and help work concession stands. In recent years, we have witnessed a decline in volunteer involvement even through we rely heavily on the support of the community to be successful.

This year, we are introducing a fully refundable concession stand volunteer fee of $25. The fee is in addition to the cost of registration and will be presented at checkout. 

By having the refundable fee in place, parents have a vested intereset in helping support the association through helping run our concession stands which provide the necessary funding to keep the league running. Once a parent has completed their concession stand shift, a board member will document the shift as being worked and a refund for the fee will be issued. Failure to work the concession stand shift will result in forefeiture of the fee and Northridge Baseball will retain the $25.
