Eagles Board Meeting January 9, 2024

Board Members Attending: Jeremy Ohlsen, Katie Ohlsen, Morgan Jimenez, Rick Jimenez, Jason Gable, Jackie Gable, Erin Noel, Jimmy Pastori, Guest - Sam Edmonds

Meeting called to order at Old Growth Cellars

• Introduction of Sam Edmonds, who is interested in coaching the 17u team. Sam talked about his interest and experience/background. Board members asked questions as needed.
• - Confirmed date for the Fundraiser as March 23, 2024. Jimmy noted there may be an issue and offered other optional dates in March. Jimmy will confirm by the end of the week if March 23rd can be confirmed.
• - Humboldt Connection to work-up prices for gear, hats, etc and present at the General Board Meeting.
• - Eagles account at US Bank is officially closed and moved to Coast Central Credit Union (CCCU). Current balance is $15074, 00. -Discussed clinic at CR at the end of January, beginning of February. Will confirm dates, etc with Tommy.
• -Discussion regarding obtaining a corporate sponsor. Letter to be sent requesting corporate sponsorship. Businesses to be sent to: Schafer’s ACE Hardware, Valley Pacific, George Peterson Insurance, Bear River Casino, Danco, Humboldt Recology
• -Next Meeting will be the General Board Meeting. It’s been advertised on the website and will be posted on Facebook. Please share and invite potential board members
• - Taxes are being finished up. Discussed possibility of paying coaches a per diem. Will continue discussion at a later meeting.
• - Discussion about Sam as 17u coach. Morgan made a motion to approve Sam as the 17u coach. Erin seconded the motion. All board members voted in favor of Sam as the 17u coach.
